Group-Sponsored Your Song Contest
Details
Deadline: | Sep 4, 2020 |
Fee: | Free |
Music has the power to unlock memories, tap into emotions, and inspire stories. What song stirs a story within you?
The Third Drawer Down and the Muse groups have come together in musical harmony to provide this contest. Let music be your muse. Rummage through your third drawer down for a song prompt. Is it one you remember, or one you want to write?
The contest is open to all genres, short story, flash, and narrative poetry.
At the top of your body of work, include the link to your song inspiration along with the title and the name of the artist, or your own composition.
The story should not be a literal interpretation of the lyrics. We look forward to reading how you weave your own story inspired by a song.
Prize money for this contest is provided by the Scribophile Writing Contest Prize Fund.
