Group-Sponsored The Holidays - A Writing Contest
Details
Deadline: | Dec 24, 2016 |
Fee: | Free |
The Holidays are coming! The Holidays are coming! The Short Story Writers Group has organized a writing contest to celebrate The Holidays. It doesn’t matter if it’s a humorous holiday, crazy Christmas, horrifying Hanukkah, or a kooky Kwanzaa, this time of year means something different to everyone. Let your creative juices flow like eggnog at a Christmas party. Light the fires of your imagination like it was a menorah. Provide the world of Scribophile and Whoville alike with a story under 2,500 words. Keep it under 2,500, or you could be put on the naughty list. Good luck, and happy holidays!
In addition to the prizes below, an additional 5 points may be awarded for the funniest story.
Prize money for this contest is provided by the Scribophile Writing Contest Prize Fund.
