Group-Sponsored AI - Artificial Intelligence Contest
Details
Deadline: | Feb 28, 2020 |
Fee: | Free |
Write a story where one of your principal characters is an AI construct. They must play a major part in your story, including dialogue with other characters. The AI must be clearly artificial intelligence. Merely labeling one of your characters an AI, when they behave like a human, won’t count. Any genre is acceptable.
Is your AI part of a Geth or Borg type mentality or a single minded entity? Will we fear your AI? Will we care for this being, or not?
Has your AI committed a crime? Or perhaps they’re investigating one? Perhaps your AI has gone rogue, or your AI is a weapon. Does your AI have a keen sense of humor, or a terrible one? Will AIs replace parents and raise children? Will they cope better with childhood dilemmas? Who is the AI in the room? What clues lead to their discovery? In the future will we have AIs designed for romantic companionship? Or will someone unwittingly fall for an AI? How you write your AI story is up to you!
The AI may have a physical form (android/robot/humanoid) or not (just a voice from a computer). Unique ideas will count for a lot. Design our future!
