Group-Sponsored Unmasking Contest
Details
Deadline: | Jul 31, 2019 |
Fee: | Free |
Unmasking.
Reveal your true self to the world, bare your face to the sun, spread your wings. No more hiding.
Discovery. Peel back the surface to find what awaits beneath. No going back.
Find the strength in vulnerability.
Following last year’s Moment It Hit You Contest, this year the Gay Writers and Friends (GW&F) Group invites your entries on the theme of “Unmasking,” so step out from the shadows, come out of the closets, and spin us a story.
Today’s the day. Take off your mask.
LGBT+ content is welcomed and encouraged, though not required. We look forward to reading heartfelt words from all genres.
Entries will be judged on their interpretation of the prompt, emotional depth, and writing quality by a panel including last year’s winners. We’re looking for stories which will linger long after the last word.
