Group-Sponsored Agent Hunters' Best Agent Query Ever! Contest
Details
Deadline: | Aug 31, 2017 |
Fee: | Free |
The group Agent Hunters is sponsoring a Scribophile-only contest for queries and synopses. All genres of fiction are welcome.
Your query should contain the work’s genre, market consideration, elevator pitch, author bio with publishing credits (if any), a brief synopsis, and a courteous and professional closing. It must be 400 words or fewer and must begin with “Dear Agent.” You may wish to include a sentence or two as to why you have chosen this particular agent. Though, if that is the case, please remove the agent’s real name from your submission.
The aim of this contest is to promote the group, Agent Hunters, and to encourage fellow Scribophiles to polish their queries, share them, and hopefully, in doing so, we can all learn from one another.
If the winner so desires, I will happily tweet and blog about how spectacular the author's query is. It is possible, though unlikely, we will select more than one winning entry.
